You wake up. It’s dark. Not even a single spark of light. Your head aches. You can’t remember where you are nor how you got here. The one thing you know for certain is that you will die in this freezing cold if you stay here any longer. You're pulling yourself up and instantly feel dizzy. The pain in your head intensifies. With every heartbeat the pressure in your head increases. You can’t stay here any longer. You must start moving. To find shelter. To survive.

You stumble in the dark, feeling your way with your hands. You hope to find a door, a window, anything that could lead you out of this nightmare. But all you touch is cold metal and wires. You realize you are in some kind of bunker, buried deep underground. You wonder who put you here, and why. You hear a faint sound, like a beep. You follow it, hoping it is a sign of life. You reach a wall, where a small screen is blinking. You press a button, and the screen lights up. It shows a message: "Welcome to Project Genesis. You are one of the lucky survivors of the nuclear war that wiped out most of humanity. You have been in cryogenic sleep for 50 years, waiting for the surface to become habitable again. Your mission is to rebuild civilization and restore hope to the world. Good luck." You stare at the screen, shocked and confused. You don't remember anything about a nuclear war, or a project called Genesis. You don't even remember your own name. You wonder if this is some kind of prank, or a nightmare. But the cold and the pain tell you this is real. You look around, and see a door next to the screen. You open it, and find a corridor. You walk along it, hoping to find someone who can explain what is going on. You see other doors, with labels like "Lab", "Storage", "Control Room". You open one of them, and find a room full of computers and monitors. You see a map of the world, with red dots indicating radiation levels. You see a countdown timer, showing 23 hours and 57 minutes left. You see a button, labeled "Launch". You don't know what it means, but you have a bad feeling about it. You decide to leave the room, and look for another way out. You wonder if you are really a survivor, or a pawn in someone else's game. You wonder if there is anyone else alive in this bunker, or in the world. You wonder if you will ever see the sun again.
